School Council

In our school we appoint one member of each class to the School Council to represent the voice of our pupils.

Our School Council meets regularly. During these meetings the members of the council will:

  • Discuss ideas that could help improve the school.
  • Think of ideas to solve problems
  • Be responsible for checking new ideas happen.
  • Talk about ideas or worries from their own class.

School Councillors also:

  • Give school tours to visitors.
  • Represent the school at important events.
  • Hold class meetings and feedback ideas to the School Council.
  • Help improve parts of the school.
  • Help organise events.

Safeguarding Monitors

•We help to keep everyone in school safe

•We check adults and other visitors are wearing the correct lanyard

•We talk with Mr Osborne about ways to keep everyone safe

•We enjoy being vigilant

Playground Buddies

•We help children get along whilst playing

•We play games and understand the markings on the playground

•We talk with Miss Palmer about things we help to sort out

•We enjoy playing with others

Worship Team

•We help introduce Worship

•We visit the church and talk with Father John

•We talk about what we like about stories and activities that happen in Worship

•We talk with Miss Rogers and Miss Smith about our Worship

Sports Stars

•We help tidy equipment

•We play games and understand the markings on the playground

•We talk with Mr Smith about what children would like to play with on the playground

•We enjoy sports

Eco Team

•We help to keep the school and grounds tidy

•We help to be responsible for recycling at FCIA

•We talk with Mrs Smith to decide ways to help reduce our negative impact on the planet

•We enjoy being vigilant
